The Oscar for Best Makeup & Hairstyling went to:
Suicide Squad

2017 Oscar nominations

On 24 January 2017 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominations for the 89th Oscars.

The nominees for Best Makeup & Hairstyling are:
A Man Called Ove
Eva von Bahr & Love Larson
Star Trek Beyond
Joel Harlow & Richard Alonzo
Suicide Squad
Alessandro Bertolazzi, Giorgio Gregorini & Christopher Nelson.

The Oscars Ceremony will be held on 26 February 2017.

Some really fine work there: Star Trek Beyond was surely a slam dunk for nomination; A Man Called Ove is the second consecutive nomination for Eva von Bahr & Love Larson – what an achievement (and they won a Guldbaggen this week for another movie!); Suicide Squad proves that even a crap movie can have great production values. Good luck everybody.
