Canadian Screen Awards 2015: nominations

The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television’s new Canadian Screen Awards recognise excellence in film, television and digital media productions. The new awards replace both the the prix Génie / Genie Awards (film) and the Gemini Awards (television).

The nominations in both feature film and television categories were announced on 13 January 2015.

The nominees for Best Achievement in Makeup / Meilleurs Maquillages (Feature Film) are:

Henri Henri
Lizane Lasalle
Meetings with a Young Poet
Colleen Quinton
Mommy
Maïna Militza, Michelle Côté & Colette Martel
Trailer Park Boys – Don’t Legalize It
Amanda O’Leary.

The nominees for Best Achievement in Makeup (Television) are:
Being Human ‘Too Far, Fast-Forward!’
Erik Gosselin & Edwina Voda
Bomb Girls: Facing the Enemy
Katarina Chovanec & Eva Coudouloux
Murdoch Mysteries ‘Friday the 13th, 1901’
Deb Drennan
Reign ‘Consummation’
Jenny Arbour & Linda Preston.

The winners in the television categories will be announced on 24 & 25 Feburary and the winners in the feature film categories will be announced on 01 March
