It was a busy night for film awards last night: the BAFTAs and the Goyas.

The Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España announced the winners of the 25th Premios Goya (Goya Awards).

The winners for Best Makeup & Hair / Mejor maquillaje y/o peluquería are:
Balada triste de trompeta
José Quetglas, Pedro Rodríguez ‘Pedrati’ & Nieves Sánchez Torres.

The winners for Best Special Effects / Mejores efectos especiales are:

The big winner of the night was Pa Negre which took almost all the major awards: Best Film; Best Director; Best Actress; Best Supporting Actress; Best New Actor; Best New Actress; Best Adapted Screenplay; Best Cinematography; Best Art Direction.

And The King’s Speech managed to pick up yet another award: Best European Film.

The full list of winners should be on the Academy’s website but doesn’t seem to be responding this morning so I’ll reference the full list of winners published by El Pais instead.
