If you can’t see the difference between a relationship between two adults of significantly different ages and a penetrative sex act performed by a middle-aged man on a 13 year old child I’ll help you – the latter is sexual abuse, rape and paedophilic behaviour.

Whatever you want – I won’t change my mind. And to go for the age old nonsense of the age gap just doesn’t cut it. The judge was in his fifties and had an twenty year old partner, but that’s fine then. And Rock is an idiot. He comes from planet Hollywood where they do it right now and get away with it too. And so right up your own street and any other. But then again, I guess you think all these underage mothers out there are imagination and were purely pushed into motherhood by their teenage boyfriends. Welcome to the real world.

I read a number of things including the link you suggested before deciding. At the end of the day he was 43 and she was 13: there are two words that describe that scenario – one begins with P and the other with R.
I’ll stick with Chris Rock: “Come on, man! She was 13! Thirteen! . . . Thirteen is 13. Nobody gets away with having sex with a 13-year-old!”

The rape charge WAS dismissed for exactly NO physical evidence to support her claims. So was the drugging and plying of alcohol, and the child rape count for her age being an adolescent, not a child anymore by law. Besides, what she ‘protested’ and ’said’ she said, and what she ‘did’ are not corroborated by impartial witness statements nor his own testimony. Why should I believe ‘her’ words, when evidence doesn’t support them, and most of all, she had plenty of chances to get away from him had she really been ‘afraid’, especially when Huston appeared, but Geimer said and did absolutely nothing to signal rape. The attorneys knew they had no case and THAT’s why they plea bargained on the wishes of the plaintiff, and to spare her publicity initially. Which went straight out the window for the foreign media getting hold of her identity. That’s why he pleaded guilty to the unlawful sex with a minor count, because that’s the only thing that happened. Maybe you should read others’ blogs like this one. To re/adjust your opinion. Just a thought.

According to her original Grand Jury testimony – which I read before making a decision – a 43 year old man plied a 13 year old girl with alcohol and drugs before performing penetrative sexual acts on her despite her protests. This was why the original charges included rape. He pleaded not guilty but the rape charge was not dismissed for lack of evidence but as part of a plea bargain proposed by the girl’s lawyers in an attempt to preserve her anonymity.
At 13 she was not legally competent to give consent in any case.

Yeah, except he didn’t assault her. It was consensual, no matter she couldn’t actually give consent. She said so herself. I signed the petition, because I’m NOT a hypocrite.

As an obvious lover of Irish related film we thought we’d give you our latest news …

British Feature Fiction Film ‘BILLY & LILLY GO TO NEW YORK’ will have its World Première at the WATERFORD FILM FESTIVAL. The film is made by critically acclaimed maverick director Bill Maloney (LUNATIC) The film is shot in a realistic documentary style but it is a spoof. Bill playing himself (a cockney –speaking Irishman) goes to New York to represent his nominated feature film at a NY Film Festival but he decides to bypass the festival glitz in favour of shooting a documentary about the homeless people of NY. Their efforts lead to a tragic close.

It would be great to see you at the Festival if you can make it – or tell your friends who live nearby?
